- Empty the fire extinguisher and check the inside of the bottle for excess corrosion / damage.
- Disassemble the head and clean all parts and replace damaged parts.
- Add our verification collar.
- Reassemble and recharge the fire extinguisher
- Add our verification sticker and tag, as done in the 'Annual Service' Section
If a fire extinguisher is used and requires to be recharged, this same process will be done to the fire extinguisher.
For most types of fire extinguishers, it is required they are hydrotested every 12 years. Some fire extinguishers require it every 5, (CO2, Water, K). In a hydrostatic test we will:

- fill the extinguisher with water and pressurize it to its required pressure for its required amount of time.
If it Passes:
- Dry the bottle
- Disassemble the head and clean all parts and replace damaged parts.
- Add our verification collar.
- Reassemble and recharge the fire extinguisher
- Add our verification sticker and tag, as done in the 'Annual Service' Section
If it Fails:
- Replace the fire extingusher
